Button Design Winner Announced

First Night is excited to announce the button design winner for 2011’s event which is themed “Artists Among Us.” This year’s button design comes from one of the metro area artists, Taylor Burkum. His design will be used to create buttons that will serve as tickets of admission for participants in the fourth Annual First Night Council Bluffs activities, which will take December 31, 2010.

The logo, which is unique to each year, will be used to promote the event, including posters, fliers, the website, and the commemorative buttons, which are also the tickets of admission for First Night participants.

This years theme is "Artist Among Us"

The button created from the design had flashing lights that lit up the streets and venues and participants took part in activities.

"The logo is to the development of First Night," said Chair Inky Westfall. "It becomes the brand everyone associates with the event, and has a tremendous amount of visibility."
