2013 Button Design Contest Winner Announced

First Night is excited to announce the button design winner for the 2013 event which is themed "The Spirit of Arts in Iowa." This year's button design comes from a graduate of Abraham Lincoln and student at Iowa State University, Taylor Atkinson. His design will be used to create buttons that will serve as tickets of admission for participants in the sixth Annual First Night Council Bluffs activities, which will take December 31, 2012.
The design, which is unique to each year, will also be used for other event promotion, including posters, fliers, commercials, and the First Night website, www.FirstNightCouncilBluffs.org.

"With this year's theme of "The Spirit of Arts in Iowa" we felt Taylor's button captured the excitement and entertainment that happens every year at our event," said First Night Co-Chair Inky Westfall. "Art in Iowa come from all over including music, painting, dancing and we feel this his button are our event capture all those things that make Iowa a special place to live, work, and play."
