2012 Button Design Winner Announced!

First Night is excited to announce the button design winner for the 2012 event which is themed "A Night to Remember." This year's button design comes from one of the metro area artists, Jerri Hansen. Her design will be used to create buttons that will serve as tickets of admission for participants in the fifth Annual First Night Council Bluffs activities, which will take December 31, 2011.

"With this year's theme of "A Night to Remember" we felt Jerri Hansen's button captured the excitement and entertainment that happens every year at our event," said First Night Co-Chair Inky Westfall. "Jerri is a wonderful artist and we are excited to choose her artwork for this year's button design." "The button design is integral to the development of First Night," said Co-Chair Geoff Hubbard. "It becomes the brand everyone associates with the event, and has a tremendous amount of visibility."

The button created from the design had flashing lights that lit up the streets and venues and participants took part in activities.
